Nigel Morriss is the Founder and CEO of ORC and a highly experienced investment operations and operational risk specialist with a career spanning the GCC, Europe, the US and Asia.

Prior to founding ORC in 2019, Nigel was a Principal Investment Consultant and Head of the Operational Consulting Group at Mercer in Dubai. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles including Executive Director, Operations at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London, alongside positions at UBS Wealth Management, BlackRock and State Street.

Nigel advises sovereign wealth funds, central banks, pension funds, asset managers, custodians and other institutional investors across operational due diligence, investment operations, governance, risk management, custody and fund administration, and investment technology.

He is also a published commentator on investment operations and operational risk trends and serves as an expert on the GLG and Coleman Research panels. Nigel holds an honors degree in Law from the University of Hull.
