Steven advises sovereign wealth funds, central banks, pension funds, asset managers, custodians and other institutional investors on operational risk, governance, transformation and operational due diligence.

Before joining ORC, Steven built a distinguished career across the asset management and securities industry. He began with stockbrokers de Zoete & Bevan, becoming a partner in 1985, before helping establish and manage BZW’s equity business in New York and subsequently holding senior management roles within its London equities division.

Steven has also served as COO to a number of UK-based asset managers and has held FCA-regulated COO and CCO roles, as well as serving as a Central Bank of Ireland-approved Fund Board Director. This breadth of experience gives him a practical understanding of governance, regulation, operating models and institutional investment operations.

At ORC, Steven advises on complex transformation projects and operational due diligence assignments across both public and private markets, with a particular focus on governance, operating models, operational risk and global best practice standards.

Steven graduated from University College, Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics.
