Yaser advises sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, central banks, family offices and other institutional investors on investment strategy, manager selection, due diligence, portfolio construction and governance.

Before joining ORC, Yaser was a Principal and Project Lead in Mercer’s Investment Consulting business in Dubai, where he led complex assignments covering investment strategy, manager due diligence and selection, and institutional governance frameworks.

Earlier in his career, Yaser was Head of Asset Management at Emirates Investment Bank, where he chaired the Investment Committee and managed public and private market portfolios. He also served as Head of Structured Investments at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and, previously, as a multi-asset Fund Manager at Vantagepoint Funds in Washington, DC, overseeing more than US$3 billion in client assets. He began his career as a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen in the United States.

Yaser also serves on the Investment Committees of several regional institutions and as a Board member of multiple investment firms.

He has been a CFA Charterholder since 2002 and holds a BA in Economics with Honors from Northwestern University, an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
