Alasdair Moles is a Consultant at ORC, who specializes in strategy and advisory engagements, supporting institutional clients in enhancing operations, accessing new markets and unlocking outsized value. With expertise across custodians, asset managers and asset administrators, he focuses on delivering structured, targeted plans for strategic transformation initiatives with powerful outcomes. His approach incorporates due diligence principles to integrate industry best practices across operations, communications and technology, ensuring compliance frameworks are ingrained throughout.

Prior to joining ORC, Alasdair worked at a boutique consulting firm where he managed the private equity practice, advising C-level executive clients on strategy across business model, technology and people. His work encompassed the design of critical aspects of best practice, including human capital, risk management and data, across operating model and enterprise architecture design. Working closely with funds and asset managers, Alasdair evaluated the suitability of and conducted due diligence on several technology providers for core finance and ERP systems to uplift multiple portfolio company operations, with recommendations and enterprise designs centered selected products successfully taken forward into transformation initiatives.

Alasdair holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Strathclyde and is currently studying for the PRINCE2 qualification.
